I do that because.. well.. I have the graphic abilities of a house-plant but still want to bring teh funneh. Most of these were for my friend Dana who is a silent reader at FW.

If it bothers you, I can take 'em off. I do not enjoy being involved in wank, just mocking it, and if this means apologizing and not putting up these icons any more, than by all means, I apologize and will take 'em down.

Yes, I probably couldn't have read "wants to be considered a funny person on F_W" off of you stronger if you'd had it tattooed on your forehead. Er.

But seriously -- fwank_icons is a fairly non-wanky icon comm, but if you *are* going to make icons in the future, you should be aware of some general icon mores - and a major one is that you don't take other people's icons and change them. At the very least, not without asking for permission first. It's graphic plagiarism, in a way. And when you do, most people, even those who normally don't ask for credit, would nevertheless appreciate being credited for the "base".

I'm sure you'll gather other lessons in the future. :D
