I think I made that specific quote up, but in response to a common fandom idea that had come up in several discussions about bad!fic and those stories where 'Magic Cock cures all!', and I used allergies because I was in SGA fandom at the time, and Rodney McKay's allergies were a big thing in a lot of stories. It's an old icon, and I honestly can't remember now. Sorry.

I love the Pierre Abélard quote, it's one of my favorites. This from a guy who became a monk when separated from the girl of his dreams, and she became a nun, and they wrote letters back and forth for a few decades.
