I'm confusing my communities, but I'm VERY sure I saw it discussed in here -- was there ever a wank that involved the romance novel in which the heroine said that her nether bits made "a disappointed queeb sound" at one point? I've seen that discussed in other comms, but I could swear I also saw it covered in the Wankiverse and just can't find the post. ETA: Found it! Carry on. |

Looking For Group Several years ago there was a wank about Looking For Group (i seem to recall that it had a bit of an astral-plane feeling to it, this wank -- some chick claiming to be married to Cale'Anon or something? or sleeping with a hand-made doll of him and it getting into really squicky territory therein) I recently returned to reading this fun webcomic and have started over from the beginning. Would any kind souls be willing to link me to the wank that introduced me to it? The FW wiki is timing out on me (might be my browser, not sure, there are a number of sites behaving oddly for me, though for some reason journelfen is just fine) so I don't know if it's linked in there, or else I'd totally try that first. |

After getting a good dose of "Snape the innocent woobie" from the latest HP wank, I was thinking "there has to be some wank out there where Lucius is considered innocent of attempted-murder for putting the diary in Ginny's cauldron, and all of the guilt for the Chamber of Secrets incident is placed on an 11 year old child", but I can't remember any such wank. Stagegay wank I've tried searching the memories and the wiki for this, but to no avail. I seem to recall a wank about whether the members of various bandom bands (My Chemical Romance was involved, and perhaps Fall Out Boy or Panic At The Disco? I can never keep them straight) making out on stage was appropriating gayness, or something like that. It basically became bandom slash fans vs SRS BSNS. Did I hallucinate the whole thing? |

Seeking: Avatar wank I don't recall whether this made ![[info]](http://www.journalfen.net/img/community.gif){kind=small} fandom_wank or not, but A few years back I recall someone posting (to f_W or possibly fanficrants? a fanficrants entry that made f_w?) a truly epic critique-in-rant's clothing about the Zutara epic Stormbenders -- and now I can't find it. I definitely remember comments in the triple-digits, though.And now it's annoying me that I can't find it. It probably occurred sometime between February and December of '08, because in '09 because I definitely remember it being before the castingfail. (It has been a long time since I read the actual story and I have no desire to go back and skim over it looking for the bits that made me particularly ragey, but I do remember being left with a feeling of This Is Why I Don't Ship Zutara Anymore, this and fandom's insistence that it was The Best Story Ever and Better Than Canon, and which critique-in-rant's clothing expressed for me.) Anyone? Sound familiar? |

Snape Wives Ok, so I was talking with my friend recently about the beautifully pure levels of batshittery that occur within the HP fandom, and of course the Snape Wives came up. The problem is that I seem to recall a more recent installment in their saga than the last entry in the wiki from 2007. I vaguely recall there being new or unseen shrines and them picking really terrible pictures of Rickman looking disgusted by their antics. Am I completely on crack about there being a post more recently than 2007 about these Astral Wives? I've scoured FW, CW & FL. ETA: Found it! It was in spitting_image. |

Searching for WoW wank I'm looking for a World of Warcraft wank involving an unusually large and successful Horde raid on Alliance capitals, possibly on several servers at once. I think it involved some Alliance people saying no one would care if the Alliance had done it, and it was only special because the Horde mostly sucks? Does anyone have a link to the really really old Wraeththu wank? The wank started because some fan of the Wraeththu books wanted to cut themselves and their partner to re-enact a love scene from the books and wanted to know the safest way to do so. They argued with the community they posted in when told they were a crazy fan and they should just stop. The most notable thing about this wank is in the wank report comments the wankas spent more time commenting on the insane source material of the book rather then the wank itself. |
