Feeling Nostalgic, Having A Good Time
I'm looking for a link to that wank about some young singer in Florida with red hair who made herself into a real life Mary Sue on her LJ ? It hit Fandom Wank and had about a 1,000 comments, I believe. It was from a while back and I believe her name was Rose Fairy... something or another. Anyway, it was hysterical and I wanted to give it another read through.

Oh, this gal...

IIRC, she's also been discussed extensively on Portal of Evil and GAFF back in the day.

If she's the LJ user I think she is, her real story is actually somewhat sad. She has Turner's syndrome, a genetic abnormality that causes a number of physical and health problems. The entire 'fantasy princess' thing is her escape from what she has to live with and how she deals. She really is living in her own little world.

I think it was determined - by folks who knew her from the Renfaire circuit - that the husband/boyfriend is quite real and the relationship seems to be a solid one.

Take all above with a grain of salt as it's from memory.
