Feeling Nostalgic, Having A Good Time I'm looking for a link to that wank about some young singer in Florida with red hair who made herself into a real life Mary Sue on her LJ ? JKR forgot about Poland! The unfunnybusiness Kristallnacht post reminded me of this one HP wank where the wanker said that JKR having that Deathly Hallows scene where Harry rescues Muggle-borns from the Ministry of Magic is the same as saying that Poland made no contributions to WWII, or something like that. Does that ring any bells? |

Twilight wank? I know there has been Twilight wank posted. But both the tags and the memories are failing me. Kyou Kara Maou wank A friend of a friend mentioned a wank from a while ago that happened on the Kyou Kara Maou community on LJ. They were doing that "which character you love", "which character you hate", "which character you'd slap" meme there, and someone said she hated Conrad the most because "he's a rapist". Apparently it turned into a big Conrad vs. Wolfram fight, that turned into a shipping fight, and then the girl who posted the response originally said that Conrad reminded her of some trauma in her past, so people showed up to defend her, etc. Does anyone have any idea when this might have happened? Social Experiments 'R Us I remember there being this one wank report where the wanker came over here to say that it was all just a social experiment. In and of itself not that interesting, but s/he also went on to oh-so-graciously give us time to take down the wank report before we were exposed to the world as the morons that we were for being gullible enough to fall for said social experiment. This wasn't in memories or in the Wiki -- and actually, I'm not sure whether this would have been FW or OTFW. It dealt with an English community where Jamie "Naked Chef" Oliver was trying to get his "healthier school lunches" program going, but a couple of mothers were causing problems because they were showing up at the school and going on fast food runs for the kids because they didn't like that the kids were being given "posh food" like shepherd's pie and such. It was sometime within the past year; anyone remember this? |

Giving someone exactly what they *don't* want Wow, this isn't in the Wiki or the memories: the HP wank where, in a fic exchange, two assholes decide to write what the other person explicitly didn't want, rather than what she asked for; there was also a troll who argued that the person who upset over this didn't have a sense of humor. Gay man lecturing straight women on their sexuality I remember there being a wank about a gay columnist for a San Francisco magazine/newspaper who, while sharing his Thoughts on Yaoi, said something along the lines of "Women have no sex drives, so if you women think that something turns you on, you're simply deluding yourselves".
