A friend of mine recently got her car towed for a bullshit offense (her parking sticker wasn't in the correct place, but it was ON THE CAR.) This reminded me of a post that I think may have been in either fandom wank or one of the "lounge" communities, where a guy who had a similar thing happen wrote an "open letter" to his city officials that basically consisted of a bunch of macros. I think this also may have wound up being linked in the Somethingawlful forums. Anyway, I wanted to link my friend to it to cheer her up, but I can't find it now. I was wondering if anyone had it in their memories.

Ultimates wank involving Captain America?

So I've been partially sucked back into Marvel fandom via the Iron Man movie, and was trying to find various related comic titles, which included Ultimates. I came across the page in volume 2 where Captain America made a slightly derogatory remark about France while fighting an alien invader thing, and thought, "Wait, wasn't this wanked at some point?" Except I can't seem to find it in the wiki, and going through the memories section is time consuming (but I'm still going at it). Anyone happen to remember if there was a post about this?

Long ago, there was a wank where a girl flipped her shit because her fanfic was mocked. She proclaimed that it was good because voice actors were interested in her stories/projects, I believe. I think I found the site where she got those voice actors and it stirred up old memories. I couldn't remember anything about it though. Does anyone know this wank? I'd appreciate the help. Thanks!

During some wank - most likely about Ray Bradbury, but I'm not totally sure about that - someone linked to an excerpt of one of Bradbury's books where various characters' penises were talking to them. Does anyone know where to find either the wank or the excerpt? I've looked on the wiki and in the memories of fandom_wank and otf_wank and haven't been able to find anything.

Back when I was still a 'mouse, I remember reading some wank about a person who wrote an essay about Elijah Wood. The writing seemed to concern itself mostly with how perfect and whole the hobbit was, and how the rest of us were so broken and pathetic.

A friend of a friend mentioned a wank from a while ago that happened on the Kyou Kara Maou community on LJ. They were doing that "which character you love", "which character you hate", "which character you'd slap" meme there, and someone said she hated Conrad the most because "he's a rapist".

Apparently it turned into a big Conrad vs. Wolfram fight, that turned into a shipping fight, and then the girl who posted the response originally said that Conrad reminded her of some trauma in her past, so people showed up to defend her, etc.

Does anyone have any idea when this might have happened? I checked the memories, but I couldn't find anything. Thanks.

In and of itself not that interesting, but s/he also went on to oh-so-graciously give us time to take down the wank report before we were exposed to the world as the morons that we were for being gullible enough to fall for said social experiment.

This wasn't in memories or in the Wiki -- and actually, I'm not sure whether this would have been FW or OTFW. It dealt with an English community where Jamie "Naked Chef" Oliver was trying to get his "healthier school lunches" program going, but a couple of mothers were causing problems because they were showing up at the school and going on fast food runs for the kids because they didn't like that the kids were being given "posh food" like shepherd's pie and such.

It was sometime within the past year; anyone remember this?
