It hasn't become an obsession yet, but give it time and I'm sure it will.

It was only a *real* obsession until I'd gotten all three thousand of my book in. Now it's more a ... hobby.

At the moment I'm still working on getting all my books categorized, it's only a fraction so far and I feel slightly guilty for not doing it faster. But when I acquire new books, putting them on LT is the first thing I do, so for those cases it works just fine.

I'm also a bit disappointed that I could never quite get into the group feature they have. I'm all about interaction and discussion, but the groups I looked at seemed all very quiet, or they were so random and repetitive (how many "what are you reading now?" threads can you take?!) that I lost interest.

In other words, perhaps I should be lucky... I can "lose time" online very quickly.

I'm currently on a thread on the "talk" boards where about half-a-dozen people are confessing that they have ESP that allows them to detect used books at 100 yards. :D

(It took me over a year to get my main collection in, and I'm still adding auxiliary shelves at a trickle.)
