Hey, sports fans!
Sometimes me and snacky host an online game of the board game Balderdash, which is a game of filthy lies.
The way the game plays: A question is picked from five categories (acronyms, names, words, laws, and movies) and you make up an answer to try and fool the other players into picking yours when they're all read outloud. The real answer is always slipped in during the final reading and points are determined by whether you voted for the right one and who voted for your answer.
Example:
WACKYY WORDS: Bobbyalla
And then the answers are read out of order, without the real writers revealed:
player 2: An african animal player 1: The real term for the laughtrack you hear on sitcoms real answer: A stubby Tasmanian tree player 3: An ancient Wicca incantation.
And then the voting and so on.
If you're interested in playing, please leave a message here or drop by on aim. Talk to me: VoodooHamster or Snacky: Snacky8
The game will take place on: FRIDAY AT 7 PM CENTRAL

It all started with Ann bitching that even if they brought her back, Sue Dibny would still be known as the woman who got raped and set on fire.
Then, as all things do, it turned to Batman.
John: I sort of wish they'd used crisis to fix up plot holes and make things less ridiculous. Instead of the idiocy they did Ann: God, that was such bullshit. And it's still going on! John: I would have taken the joker's killcount down to thirty, for starters John: because it's in the millions by now, isn't it? Ann: I think he's killed the equivalent of the population of Rhode Island. And yet Gotham City doesn't run out of wealthy socialites. Ann: It's like the town is made entirely of Kenny. John: they must have respawn points Ann: alfred goes out to the park every day and scatters Gothamite eggs. They grow in the rain, like sea monkeys. John: After each case, Batman claps his hands really hard. John: I feel like posting this. Ann: Why not? Make the others suffer, as we have.

So, I've been reading Will Eisner's The Spirit, the one written and drawn by Darwyn Cooke (and J. Bone?). I ordered the first collection from the local comicshop and used it to slack off at work.
I liked it! It was fun good times. It makes me want to get to know of the original stuff, which I will probably do sometime, even if it doesn't have Darwyn Cooke's art (I found out leaves on the 12th issue. Damn) which I love so much. His writing pleases me too.
My positiveness is a little boring, so let me introduce you to the little nugget of crap in the collection.
The Jeph Loeb written Batman crossover.

It has Cooke art, so I think I can not mind the writing so much. And for the most part this is true. It's all like 'blah blah blah pretty art blah'.
Then I notice something that seems just a biiiit out of place.
( Guess what it was )
And that is John's review of the Batman/Spirit crossover.
Back to reading the rest and thinking of making icons.
