Thank you for your patience! It is picspam time! Yay!




Due to the nature of this picspam, and the difficulty of finding pics for parts of it, some of these will be pictures that may have been posted in previous picspams. But don't worry! They are just as hot in repeats as they were originally, I swear.

And speaking of people who are often hot in repeats, let's start with Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert! Yes!

I love them so much. And they love each other!














From here, it is easy enough to segue into Oliver & Zaltzman, because John Oliver is super sexy on the Daily Show, and also he does an absolutely incredible impersonation of George W. Bush. Not accurate, mind you, but absolutely incredible.

It's really hard to find decent (and decent-sized) pictures of him with his sexy writing partner Andy Zaltzman, though. Alas. :(

Absolutely Fabulous and David Fry--I'm thrilled! It helps that I was introduced to Fry this week, when I watched a kakapo shag the head of a photographer with Fry looking on and cracking jokes.

When Stephen Fry goes in search of the rare kakapo - "the old night parrot of New Zealand" - he finds himself privy to an unusual mating ritual which is "one of the funniest things he has ever seen".

Fry and zoologist Mark Carwardine have been tracking down some of the most endangered animals on the planet in a six-part series.

Stephen Fry ferrets among the forest canopies of Madagascar and finds the "darling" mouse lemur "one of the most beautiful animals he has ever seen".

Lemurs are among the most endangered of all primates, and live only on Madagascar, which has evolved in isolation for over 160 million years.

Stephen Fry treks through the rain forest to meet mountain gorillas in Uganda and says the journey was "worth every sobbing, gasping, aching step".

There are only about 700 mountain gorillas - which are critically endangered, and distinguished by their large skull, wide face, and angular nostrils - in the world.

From the very second I saw it, it was one of my very favorite pictures ever. I love the ones where they dress up as movie characters, but that one is the best. (With the possible exception, of course, of when they did Harry Potter, but I couldn't find any decent pictures of that, alas.)
