AT LAST IT IS FINALLY PICSPAM DAY YAY! And this picspam is huge, OMG, so very very large, mainly because I adopted a fairly loose definition of "suit" that includes pretty much anything where a jacket and/or tie is involved, and also because I kind of got a little over-enthusiastic as I went along. IT JUST KEPT GROWING AND GROWING OUT OF CONTROL OMG! Counting the previews, it's our second largest picspam, after Muppets, because nothing will ever top Muppets.
LET'S GET BUSY!
But first, let's talk for a second about our macro this month. It is Sigourney Weaver! And this particular picture was our very first monthly drag from July 10, 2008. Unfortunately, I have been completely unable to find any other pictures of Sigourney Weaver in drag, but I think this one is pretty damn impressive all by itself, right? In fact, this picture is so impressive that here a few months ago, probably unbeknownst to our comm here (but knownst to me!), it got posted somewhere on afterellen.com, netting this picture something like 7000 hits over a two-day period and making it probably the most popular picture in the entire Hot Daily album.
I say "probably" because it actually has some pretty stiff competition from this picture of ultrahot athlete Balian Buschbaum, a consistent favorite with offsite guests and recently linked on what looks like some sort of Asian-language gay porn forum, and this picture of Patrick Stewart from the Over 40 picspam, which got posted to Reddit and ended up getting a bunch of comments on the Photobucket posting that say things like "Fight the ignorance Captain!" and which apparently made a whole lot of people's days, which made me happy. Yay!
Also popular? The Manamana macro. No, I don't know why, either.

But when you start with Patrick Stewart, where can you possibly go from there? How can you possibly find anyone else to compare? It is hard, I will tell you, but let's go with ROBERT DOWNEY JR.! :D :D :D
Some of today's images are going to be reposts, BTW, such as the following picture of Rafe Spall, originally posted here and the final inspiration for our Suits & Ties tag, bless him.
This is not because I didn't look -- oh, heavens no! -- but because I just really cannot find another picture from that particular photoshoot anywhere, which is a damn crying shame because he is super fucking hot in that suit OMG.
Also, it's hard to find pictures of the ladies sometimes. This is also a damn crying shame. BUT HERE ARE SOME PICTURES OF JANELLE MONAE AND HER SUPER AWESOME HAIR OMG!
Do you know what has been the most super helpful thing ever in finding pictures for this post, though? Even more so than stealing from myself? THE MOST HELPFUL THING EVER HAS BEEN YOU OMG! Yes, you, with your names and your links and your pictures and, not to put too fine a point on it, YOUR TAKARAZUKA OMG!

BUT THAT IS NOT ALL THAT YOU HAVE GIVEN ME! OH NO! You have also given me Inception.
Remember when Joseph Gordon-Levitt was that cute teenager from Third Rock from the Sun? Yeah. When did he get all smokin' hot? Because wow. I approve!
Also, Watanabe Ken, because fuck yeah.
In fact, really, Inception could easily be a picspam all on its own, which reminds me that I haven't posted this month's poll yet. WATCH FOR IT! XD
And, in the meantime, here is Dule Hill. YAY! :D
Dule Hill is a super good tap dancer, did you know that? I think that's awesome, and also it's a super cheap segue into FRED ASTAIRE OMG!
Fred Astaire could wear the hell out of a suit, I'll tell you what. He had all his suits specifically tailored for dancing, and when he picked them up from his tailor, he would try them on and then go jumping and dancing around the room to make sure they fit right and wouldn't restrict his movements. Can you imagine?
So awesome OMG. *loves*
But we must move on! WE MUST! And since we're here in the vintage already, let's go with MARLENE DIETRICH! SQUEE!
God, she was so hot. No one will ever wear a suit like Marlene. No one. *swoons*
That was kind of the golden age of suits, though, really. And also the golden age of hats and cigarettes, apparently. LET'S GET OUR VINTAGE ON! :D
Okay, yeah, that last one of Sidney Poitier isn't actually vintage, BUT IT'S STILL HOT OMG! And yet I am stumped again for a way to follow so much awesome, because DUDE. Sidney Poitier.
I say we go with a different kind of so much awesome. NAMELY, RACHEL MADDOW! :D
