09:02 pm - Picspam Preview: Hot People from Bad Movies
In a not entirely unexpected turn of events, our picspam poll winner this month is... HOT PEOPLE FROM BAD MOVIES! YAY! Sadly, I won't have time for the full picpsam until this weekend, but please enjoy this preview in the meantime, and feel free to suggest more movies and/or people in the comments! You'll be glad you did! <3

Many thanks to Wikipedia, the Razzies, IMDb and, of course, to all of our players at home for most of the entries in this first round. THERE WILL BE MORE SOON! There will be much more, OH YES! :D

I couldn't suffer through Wrong Turn despite the presence of Eliza Dushku.

I did, however, watch Valentine for the cheesy awesomeness of David Boreanez.

Winter Solstice is either a very heartwarming slice of life or the world's most boring movie. I vote for Most Boring, but I watched the whole thing because there was Allison Janney and her awesome awesome legs in many many scenes.

Aftershock: Earthquake in New York was a tv miniseries on Sci-Fi that embodied every single action movie cliche. However, it had many redeeming features, such as:
+Jennifer Garner
+JR Bourne
+Tom McBeath

Speaking of the network formerly known as Sci-Fi, there was
Darklight which despite being a typically Syfyish TERRIBLE movie with CGI that would make you laugh and laugh, also had...
+Richard Burgi
+John DeLancie
+David Hewlett

If those three make any movie worth watching, I don't know what would!

Yes! I already have pictures of Lucy Liu from both that and Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, which I vaguely remember enjoying but apparently I'm in the minority there.

Please include Peter Wingfield. :) I'm pretty sure he's never been in a good movie.

JGL was in G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, Kelly Clarkson was in From Justin to Kelly, and I'm assuming Sandra Bullock and Bradley Cooper are in this picspam for All About Steve.

Right on all counts! And also I desperately need to see the GI Joe movie, because it just looks so entertainingly bad. Sienna Miller is here from that movie, as well! And plus Christopher Eccleston will represent in the eventual picspam, because yes.

I didn't even realize Sienna was in this picspam. And yes to Christopher!

Oh, I just realized John Malkovich was in Eragon which also has Jeremy Irons and Djimon Hounsou!

I saw Sienna. I think I was the one who suggested her, along with posting this image.

Turn your brain off at the door and it's not too bad.

Although I have been told that this is one the times when my opinion is not to be trusted.

Gary Oldman qualifies on many counts, but yes, it's definitely representing. XD

I don't think I've ever hated a film more :D

aaaargh, I've just remembered that film where Juliette Lewis does a Marilyn Monroe impression and he's a hitman aaaaaargh

I want to say there were good parts, but... eh. (I'm still irritated that they passed over Bill Mumy for some random guy as grown-up Will Robinson, supposedly over "big screen experience" or lack thereof; I just know he would have made it at least a little better.)

Oh look, there's Catwoman. Why, Halle? Why?

I don't think I know that one, but Juliette Lewis also qualifies on mulitple counts, so.

I believe the Oldman picture that I used for this post is from Bram Stoker's Dracula, which I've heard is pretty damned horrible, but IMDb users give it a 7.3/10 so I don't even know. Monica Bellucci was in it, but she was also in Matrix Reloaded so she qualifies anyway.

Bram Stoker's Dracula is actually really good if you compare it to the other Dracula movies, like Dracula 2000 or Van Helsing. Still a bit on the cheesy side though.

Check the cast list on those, btw. A whole lotta hotness hidden in there (Gerard Butler, Omar Epps and Jeri Ryan).

Bloodrayne had a ridiculously pretty cast too.

I prefered Van Helsing to BS's Dracula, mostly because it didn't have delusions of ... competance.

Is Gary Oldman in there because of Lost In Space? I imagine Gina under him is because of Showgirls, John Barrowman no doubt because of Shark Attack 3: Megalodon, and oh, Vin Diesel, there are probably various reasons why you're in here.

Just My Luck! And just think, if he hadn't gotten the Star Trek gig, that might've been the movie for which he'd always be best known. He dodged a bullet, there.

Arnold and Walken should be on that list, they've both been in some pretty horrible crap, and while very muscular men are not usually my cup of tea, Arnold gives me warm fuzzies.

Lovely!

For other suggestions:

Jean-Claude van Damme, Chris Evans, Kiefer Sutherland, Keanu Reeves, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Sean Patrick Flanery, Julia Stiles, Jessica Alba, Gerard Butler, Billy Connelly, David Thewlis, Paul Walker, Marton Czokas, Michael Sheen, Neal McDonough (yeah, I just named most of the Timeline cast, er...), Thandy Newton, Karl Urban, Paul Bettany.

Or how about pretty much any video game movie ever? I love them and they are usually full of beautiful people, but man, most of them are not good.

Some people LOVED it, but dear god was Mamma Mia a terrible terrible flick with some super hotties. Colin Firth, Pierce Brosnan, Stellan Skarsgard, Christine Baranski, and of course Meryl.

And some random people: Judi Dench (Chronicles of Riddick), Tim Roth (Backsliding, Hoodlum), LA SWINTON (Constantine), Toni Collette (Japanese Story)...

OH! I know! One of the worst movies I've ever seen was The Last Legion. It's got more Firth, Alexander Siddig, Aishwarya Rai, Nonso Anozie, Rupert Friend, Ben Kingsley, and I suppose it's okay if I crush on Thomas Sangster as we're about the same age...

I have Mamma Mia on DVD! I like to listen to the soundtrack in my car, provided that I skip over the bits where Pierce Brosnan attempts to sing.

True Story: I was at some family get-together or other this one time, and somehow the Mission Impossible movies came up in conversation, and I happened to mention that Mission Impossible III made me want to gouge out my own eyes with a sharpened stick and not even Simon Pegg could manage to be any good in it, and my brother happened to overhear but he only heard part of what I was saying so he was all, "Oh, are you talking about Run Fatboy Run?" And that, possibly even more than the title or even the horrifically obnoxious online advertising, was what convinced me that I really probably don't want to see Run Fatboy Run.

Your birthday picspam made me suspect you're an Avengers fan, so I'd like to mention the movie version: it has absolutely no redeeming qualities other than the fact there are some very attractive people in it. By very attractive, I mean Uma Thurman, Eddie Izzard, Fiona Shaw, Ralph Fiennes and Sean Connery.
