I still can't listen to her music. Like, I used to be SUCH a fan, and then I found out how ACTUALLY AWFUL she was, and it pisses me off because the music is still so good! I just can't listen to it without getting angry!

I deleted all of her songs from iTunes. I couldn't bring myself to delete the actual mp3 files but this way they no longer turn up in shuffle. So frustrating.

could someone point me toward examples of her offensiveness and/or awfulness? i got the impression she's rather self-absorbed, but does she have maybe an f_w tag, for instance? the only write-up i can remember about her was the one where she made that guy play a difficult piano piece.

She's usually in ufb, not f_w, and for hipster racism and ablism. My quick search of the ufb subjects pulled up four writeups: this one, this one, this one and this one, but I only looked by subject view for two months so I may have missed a couple.

In other news, I personally have the dream that one day Amanda will realize that laughing at disabled feminists was a notgood thing to do, and she will apologize profusely and work to make things right and then we will run off together and have all sorts of wacky madcap adventures and it will be awesome.

this is a good place to start. I don't know how comprehensive that link is, because there was seriously a LOT going on that week, including Amanda going on am Australian tv show and complaining about those fucking disabled feminists.
