11:08 pm - Monthly Picspam: Happy Smile Time! OMG OMG OMG! It is the end of the month, and Happy Smile Time has won, and this picspam is ON TIME OMG! YAY! LET'S GET THIS HAPPY SMILEY SHOW ON THE ROAD, BB! This was kind of a difficult picspam, because for some unknown reason, photographers or producers or publicists or whoever seem to think that smiling is not sexy, and therefore they rarely release pictures of actors/models/whathaveyou smiling. This is ridiculous! There is nothing so sexy as a happy smile! NOTHING! And here to demonstrate this for me is Chris Pine, being sexy. Yay! Also here to demonstrate for me are Kate Winslet and Zoe Saldana! More yay! This was kind of a weird picspam, too, because as I tried to find pictures for it, I started to notice that it was way easier to find pictures of famous women smiling than it was to find pictures of famous men smiling. I'm assuming this is because society in general demands that men always be all tough, and considers smiling a sort of effeminate thing to do, which is just silly. Luckily, Masi Oka eschews society's restrictions! MORE YAY! OMG OMG IT'S GEORGE TAKEI! EVEN MORE YAY! *squees* Okay, yes, sometimes I had to settle for silly faces instead of smiles. WHATEVER, IT MAKES ME HAPPY, SO IT COUNTS! :D And with that in mind, here are Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert. YAY YAY YAY! :D I loved doing this picspam. Seriously, this was one of my favorite picspams of all time, and I would happily do it again, except next time I might need you guys to give me more names because it's way easier to find pictures of people smiling when you're looking for specific people, I've found. And with that, here is Namitha Kapoor, because she was requested, and also because I love her. Oh, and hey, since we're doing Bollywood, here are Aishwarya Rai and John Abraham! Oooooh! And since we're on the subject of member submissions -- which we were, before I got distracted by Bollywood (SO SHINY OMG!) -- here are some more pictures/people who were specifically submitted/requested/suggested! THANK YOU, pimpmytardis! Vintage was not specifically requested, but I'm going there anyway, because I can. Wheeee! :D And now some more modern pics, because I can do that, too! :D And here is Sara Ramirez, because I love her, and I love her smile! :D And here are a bunch of other people whose names are in their filenames, and whose smiles I also love! (There are 42 of them, because smiling is the answer to the question of life, the universe, and everything. XD) OMG WAIT! Would you believe that I almost forgot David Tennant and Freema Agyeman, on account of how I had them separated into a different folder? SHAME ON ME! SHAME! SHAME! Oh, and there's also these people, because where would a picspam be without them? NOWHERE, I SAY! But that is nowhere to end our Happy Smile Time picspam, because we have not yet had the bestest and most happiest smile of them all, the one that makes everything better, the smile that makes my day a little brighter every time I see it, the most wonderful smile in the whole world, ALEK WEK OMG! I <3 Alek Wek. :D :D :D And that concludes our Happy Smile Time picspam for July!
