(My friends and I once came up with this whole elaborate theory about how Belgian chocolate is actually grown on lesbians, which hatch from potatoes. This is why you don't stick four geeks in a car together when they've collectively had five hours of sleep in the last 24. *facepalm*)
 Meet Mr Michael Kirby, who until his retirement few days ago was The Honourable Justice Michael Kirby of the High Court of Australia (that's our highest court ftr). He is an idol to Law students around the country because he liked to dissent whenever the High Court wasn't being awesome enough.  He has a lovely smile. He also has a lovely boyfriend of 38 years called Johan, except I can't seem to find a decent picture of him. He's been standing up for gay (and all kinds of other) rights ever since he's been in the public eye, and says sexy things like this in the newspapers. He's been replaced by The Honourable Justice Virginia Bell, who is a little harder to find pictures of as she shares a name with a pinup girl, but wikipedia has this to say about her: "Bell lives in inner Sydney with her female partner, a barrister. She has long been involved in the LGBT and human rights issues, participating in the first Mardi Gras LGBT rights rally in Sydney in 1978, which was broken up by police." I think she'll do a fine job of continuing where he left off.
So, so worth waiting for.
