Okay, so, in my defense, it is Halloween. Also, one of my cats got loose while I was moving house last August and she had been missing ever since until, two weeks ago, by chance, I caught a glance of her near our new house and eventually tracked her back to the crawl space underneath it, from which I have spent a considerable amount of time attempting to lure/catch/grab/whatever her, until like 2:00am last Friday when I FINALLY GOT HER BACK OMG YAY! :D :D :D
That last part didn't actually have anything to do with ![[info]](http://www.journalfen.net/img/community.gif) hot_daily, I'm just really really really happy to have my kitty back. :D :D :D

 | 12:23 am - IT'S ANNIVERSARY TIME AGAIN!
OMG OMG OMG! It seems like only yesterday that our happy little comm starting posting pics, and yet it has been a whole year. A WHOLE YEAR! Our first six months were commemorated here, and they were fabulous, but our last six months have been JUST AS FABULOUS OMG!

And that was the last six months that was, or something like that. I am too addled by the sexy sexy sexiness to form sentences correctly. HOWEVER! I must still take the opportunity to mention a slight change comm policy...
As you may have noticed, one of the cornerstones of our first year here at hot_daily was a distinct lack of repetition. Aside from a few special days here and there (mainly for the Monthly Drag), our daily posts featured no repetition at all, with no one having their own day twice. It's a wonderful thing and I love it, but it's also very very difficult to keep up sometimes, and it prevents me from posting some lovely pictures that I feel it is my HONOR-BOUND DUTY to share. THEREFORE! There will be a slight loosening of this restriction in the days to come, and you may start seeing the occasional return visit from some old friends. IT WILL BE FUN! And once you see that picture of John Abraham in his underpants, I don't think you'll disagree. XD
Happy Anniversary, people! And don't forget about the suggestion post! Your suggestions make the comm go 'round. ♥ ♥ ♥

Despite my ongoing computer issues today, it is, at last, that time again, and our winner this month is... Badass Chicks Who Can Kick Your Ass! Yay!
It got mentioned on the vote post that any Badass Chicks picspam would inevitably be similar to the Ridiculously Hot Women of Sci-Fi post, and in some respects, that's quite true, because sci-fi is often a haven for the type of ass-kicking women that you're not normally likely to see elsewhere. That being said, though, there is at least one major difference between that post and this one, in that this one won't be nearly so exhaustive, because that one nearly killed me. I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, but I have to think about my health! Please forgive me! ;_;
Also, this one's got real-life badass types, not just fictional ones. Score! So let's start with some kick-ass athletes, shall we? ( YES LET'S! )
