 | 12:23 am - IT'S ANNIVERSARY TIME AGAIN!
OMG OMG OMG! It seems like only yesterday that our happy little comm starting posting pics, and yet it has been a whole year. A WHOLE YEAR! Our first six months were commemorated here, and they were fabulous, but our last six months have been JUST AS FABULOUS OMG!

And that was the last six months that was, or something like that. I am too addled by the sexy sexy sexiness to form sentences correctly. HOWEVER! I must still take the opportunity to mention a slight change comm policy...
As you may have noticed, one of the cornerstones of our first year here at ![[info]](http://www.journalfen.net/img/community.gif) hot_daily was a distinct lack of repetition. Aside from a few special days here and there (mainly for the Monthly Drag), our daily posts featured no repetition at all, with no one having their own day twice. It's a wonderful thing and I love it, but it's also very very difficult to keep up sometimes, and it prevents me from posting some lovely pictures that I feel it is my HONOR-BOUND DUTY to share. THEREFORE! There will be a slight loosening of this restriction in the days to come, and you may start seeing the occasional return visit from some old friends. IT WILL BE FUN! And once you see that picture of John Abraham in his underpants, I don't think you'll disagree. XD

Despite my ongoing computer issues today, it is, at last, that time again, and our winner this month is... Badass Chicks Who Can Kick Your Ass! Yay!
It got mentioned on the vote post that any Badass Chicks picspam would inevitably be similar to the Ridiculously Hot Women of Sci-Fi post, and in some respects, that's quite true, because sci-fi is often a haven for the type of ass-kicking women that you're not normally likely to see elsewhere. That being said, though, there is at least one major difference between that post and this one, in that this one won't be nearly so exhaustive, because that one nearly killed me. I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, but I have to think about my health! Please forgive me! ;_;
Also, this one's got real-life badass types, not just fictional ones. Score! So let's start with some kick-ass athletes, shall we? ( YES LET'S! )

Hello, citizens! It's Inauguration Day! And this year's inauguration is different, oh, it is oh so different! It's the people's inauguration! It's your inauguration! Unless, of course, you're queer, in which case it's far more important to pander to misogynistic homophobic evil bigoted shitstains than it is to make us feel like we're welcome to be a part of the celebration, or, in fact, give us even the slightest hope that we might possibly be treated as actual human beings in the eyes of the law at any point in the near future. Fuck you, queers! What are you going to do, vote Republican? HA!
As you might be able to tell, I am slightly bitter about the Rick Warren thing.
And therefore, although I know I promised Inaugural Picspam, and after much prevarication and the shedding of copious tears (which is not any sort of comical exaggeration, actually, although the tears didn't really have anything to do with any sort of potential picspam, that was just an afterthought), in lieu of Inaugural Picspam, today I bring you links.
