I know. Seriously, how much would you like to be Vancey's GF/wife, really? What sorts of things would you have to do to "deserve" him, I wonder?
Tell you what, I doubt if, on analysis, my husband "deserves" me. But so what? He makes me squee like a fangirl, and that's much more important. Stop and analyze it all like that and the romance isn't worth having.
