I went offline over Christmas, and found my inbox stuffed with two pages of spammy comments from outraged Danemma fans and their vindictive Rupertemma enemies, all over a six-month-old post. (Most of the Page Two comments and all of the Page Three comments.) Do you remember Angelslave, the Danemman psychologist/pscyhiatrist/doctorite? She and her friends are on the warpath. For instance,

Now, none of you know the real Gill(angelsslave) like me, and i cannot believe what I am reading. Are you all that sad and pathetic that you have to dis her behind her back, worst of all make a mockery of her profession. I am outraged beyond belief. What gives any of you the right to comment on her. You dont. She is a fantastic person who has fantastic thoughts and ideas, and all your doing is insulting her intellegence. idiots thats all you lot are a bunch of idiots.

Some of the spammers state up front that they're teenagers, so at first I thought that they should just be ignored, but then it turned out that the instigators were adults, they were trolling another comm: spitting_image, and at least two of them figured they should get Journalfen memberships for their services.

It seems to have started on Emmawatson.net, when Bloody Regrets/Tiffany/Chiffanichan/Kaichou_Ai, probably most famous for her scary manips of Harry and Hermione and their demon spawn, found Journalfen, and subsequently hp_cornfield. She posted about it on the Emmawatson.net forums. (Registration is open should you care to see.) I'm just quoting the adults in this post, not the teenie fangirls.

I know if I was being targeted that they would go in and support me, because that is what friends do, they stick up for one another, but to let this blow over I will not let happen. Back at Emmawatson.net, Hermione's Hero finally sets them straight about Journalfen. The problem, she says is not that Hp_Cornfield is an R/Hr shipping site. It's that the godless heathens at Journalfen engage in preferential shipping. :

Hermione's Hero: hp_cornfield is an offshoot of Fandom_Wank, which is a site that wanks pretty much all fandoms. The reason hp_cornfield gpot created is because people were bringing in too much wank from H/Hrs. But enough with the historylesson. There are lots of sites that are dedicated to bashing H/Hr. This sort of thing has been around for years because the fandom considers us a bunch of tinfoil hat wearers.

First of all, the "wankers" at hp_cormfield are not all Herons. Most of them don't ship mainstream ships; some don't even ship at all.

Second, the "anything goes" attitude of fanon shipping is what's caused this problem. This is not going to sound nice, but any idiot can fanon ship. If you're not forced to think about what and why you ship, you won't. So when we H/Hrs started to question the other ships for evidence that supported their ship, we commited the cardinal sin. We made them think. They don't hate us because of what we ship. They hate us because of how we ship.'.

So, having finished spamming and trolling, Bridget posts in Anon No More asking that we give her a free account and listing her trolling Sheep's comm as one of the five required posts. Another is this remark on Harmonywank:

hp_cornfield isn't wank, It's people acting asif they were 12 years old. I don't see the point in them pointing out some of the people that they do expect they want to twist their words around and talking behind backs because they know if they posting anything infront of these people that they have posted behind (expectually ew.net and harmonyforever people) that they would lose the battle for sure. They do this so that they make themselves feel bigger but they can't truely make anyone else feel small because they are doing it behind their backs.

This kind of stuff is so sad really, If they pointed out idiodic posts which they do alittle bit, then I could care less but it's like they are the popular kids in school and the h/hr shippers are the geeks (in intellegence it's the same way to) expect we aren't scared of them, just unaware.

It makes feel like I'm in middle school or high school again. so sad. :(
