"a great injustice has taken place"
lawofjude has a petition for you to sign. Even if you aren't a member of HPANA, you can do your part in the war on injustice.
But that's just the tip of the iceberg, really.
Calling all members of HPANA.com who have been victims of the unequal and unfair treatment by the forum moderators of the said site. Please sign this petition if you believe there is a very real problem on how the forum moderators carry out their duties. This is for everyone who believes in fairness, equality, and change!It's Petitition time again!

Even if you aren't a member of HPANA, you can do your part in the war on injustice.I am a veteran member of the foroums on HPANA.com and a great injustice has taken place. In the last 6 months on that site the moderators have harrassed, belittled, hurt, annoyed, pestered, picked-on, and pissed off Shippers....but more than that....they seem to have an unspoken campaign against H/Hr Shippers as a whole. They've claimed numerous times to be neutral, fair, and equal as moderators and nothing can be further from the truth.What happened? Apparently, she got suspended for an icon with the word "crap" on it.
We have allowed this treatment to go on far too long. Now is the time for action and I have started an Online Petition asking for fair and equal treatment from the moderators on that site. I did this because a ton of people contacted me about this very noticeable problem and I am a woman of action! WE NEED YOUR HELP! Even if you are not a member of that site please sign my petition to show you believe in equal and fair treatment for Shippers, especially H/Hr Shippers who have experienced numerous injustices across the fandom!

But that's just the tip of the iceberg, really.
There has been a serious ongoing problem with the moderators on that site for a long time. We've put up with it because we thought it might dissipate. It hasn't though and the moderators have been nasty to not just the H/Hr Shippers but to Shippers as a whole. It's hard to explain how truely bad it has gotten unless you've been a member and have experienced it. But with 84,000 memebers on that site and little accountability on the mods, they just have gone too far with their injustices.And here's a rant from her myspace that might put things in context:
I can send you some emails from the moderators and how incredibly rude and nasty they have been. It would shock you.
The more time I spend on HPANA (Harry Potter Automatic News Aggrogator) the more I realize I hate the MODS and the younger crowd, primarily the younger R/Hr crowd! I don't just HATE the mods, I loathe them with every fiber of my being for their unjust and dispicable behavior towards the H/Hr Shippers. Of course, who am I...one voice among thousands of mutes ones who silently agree there is a problem with that site and their MODS from HE** yet choose to do nothing about it. I've sent my emails and said what I've wanted to the MODS. But they don't listen and don't care....I think they have a bad case of what is called a "power trip". Funny that in all that I have said to them I've never had a single point taken, I've never been banned or even threatened to be banned. Why? Because I've done nothing wrong there and they know that. They also know that if they do much more I will see to it things will change, in whatever ways I deem necessary.
Now, to the younger R/Hr crown.....STAY AWAY! I DO NOT LIKE YOU NOR WILL I EVER! It's the older Herons I have no problem with but those annoying pre-teen, adolescent, snot-faced brats have caused me much trouble. They are immature, ignorant, and way to forward with their clearly less desribale comments. To them I have only to say, YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!
