Yes, Jo is laughing at you.
I guess we should start a post about the (edit) confirmed REAL epilogue going around. SPOILERS and NON-STOP WHINING in the links.

ONTD_trash: Scans in the comments.

spoil_me_dh: Your writing is shit, Jo!

Edit: News sites are talking about the leak now and there's a locked post on spoil_me_dh where the book was scanned showing the dust jacket, colored hard bookcover, copyrights, title and dedications pages. Unless someone decided to fake all that as well as 700+ pages, the leak is real.

Edit^2: A mousy pointed out there is a new lj community: its_a_fake.

Edit^3: There's a plan of mass suicide on JKR's lawn if she doesn't write a Harmoanian ending the book better. (Thanks nekoama!)

Edit^4: A mousy pointed out there's a new picture of the book going around with a certain lj community in the background. Another blow for the FAKE side.

I seriously do not get all this outrage.

As endings go, what the heck is wrong with "... and they all lived happily ever after"?

After eleven years in a cupboard and seven more with this thing hanging above his head, doesn't Harry Potter of all people deserve happily ever after?

Apparently a children's tale is mandatory to end with every good guy dead or disabled or mentally mauled.

And shouldn't they be glad he didn't die a virgin?

I'm amazed anyone is surprised that it's Happily Ever After.

But... but... unless a children's book ends with darkness and angst it's crap! A happy ending in a children's book series is totally unacceptable, and sucks. [/sarcasm]

He deserves happily ever after only with ANOTHER teenage girl! Anything else is morally defective and as such cannot be tolerated.

I know my indignation is less about the ending and more about the plot itself. Seriously. Gaping holes. Terrible clunky lines. Really piss poor editing. It just hurts to read after the awesomeness of OotP and GoF (both of which were very R/Hr so I don't mind shipping that doesn't go my way).
