Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry
It's the Same Person
I woke up and there was an email from a friend telling me that the resident theologian featured yesterday is the same person as Halfblood Princess, who made wank headlines after HBP by wishing JKR died in childbirth. To refresh your memory:

"In the dream, I was SOOOO sad but now all I can think is "one less delusional idiot on the planet!" (link since deleted)

Same person *before* HBP said that the Song of Solomon read like a James/Lily fanfic, but is also a proof God ships Harmony.

She's halfbloodprincess on HMS Harmony, lockedsomewhere on LJ, knownbeforetime on Xanga, and lockedinaroom on Portkey. This isn't a secret, all her IDs lead to each other, but apparently no one noticed it before. I'm just so happy to discover that two separate shippers have become one, I can get past all the patheticness.

Or her "fanfiction" spasm about Slughorn shipping H/Hr. But it backfiring because of the Ron's Sister Thing (TM).

Unbeknownst to Harry, Slughorn wrote special instructions in Harry’s book to make sure would make the best potion. Because, according to Slughorn, any guy who doesn’t notice his female best friend as a potential partner is in extreme need of a male “lucky” potion (and date-rape potion) or is just gay. Slughorn is secretly hoping for the latter.

Before that, there's the Satan God Commentary where we clearly see that Satan ships H/G:

God: Regular genius, aren't you. Oh look! Hell's done froze over! I expected that... *tosses a jacket to Satan who switches to H/Hr to get the heat back on*

Satan: Looks like we have something in common now doesn't it?

God: It appears so...

Satan: Sorry about that crucifying your son thing…

God: You’re not getting off that easily.

Satan: Damn! *makes Hermione act like the demon spawn that is slutty!bitchy!HBP!Hermione but still likes the heat so doesn’t make her totally in love with Ron*

And then there's also my fave bit- batshit predictions for book 7 as well.

She said it, not me.

While I can't seem to see Harry as anything other than straight, he seems to make an exception for his interactions with Hermione. It's like a strange counterpoint to "We're not gay, we just love each other" slash: "I'm not gay, I just have a faghag."

Yes, but in her world, Ron is with Draco...well, threesome anyone?

The story concludes with Ginny joining her true lover, Voldemort. Ron and Hermione are too busy arguing to notice Harry’s absence or notice that there is no more daylight in the world.

Without Harmony in our lives, existance will crumble. Without Balance, there is no order. There is only Ginny Weasley. Who I've only grown to like more because of all this bitching about her. Rock on, Weasley, Rock on.

You, too, huh? That's happened to me, too, more often in my main fandom but a headache-inducing characterization of one of the ladies is making me hate her...

I liked her before, but its grown a lot. Surprisingly, I used to hate Hermoine when I first started reading the series but grew to like her too. Still find her a bit annoying at times though, but since I get described as a Know-It-All a lot, I also empathize at times.

Things fall apart; the center cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.

Now the world is cowardly, decayed and weak,
Old, covetous, confused of speech:
I see only female and male fools....
The end approaches...

I didn't care for Ginny's characterization at all when I finished HBP. (I loved the book, but not Ginny.) But these people are making me like Ginny more and more out of spite.

You are not the only one. I'm starting to see Jo's writing of Ginny in a whole new, favorable light. Instead of an objectionable bitch, she's now a likeable bitch. Yet, not really a bitch at all.

My first impressions of her in HBP may have been wrong.

Ditto! The more irrational Ginny-hate that I see the more I feel compelled to refute their petty arguements. And I begin to like her more and more and figure she'll grow out of the more annoying aspects of her character.

Before that, there's the Satan God Commentary where we clearly see that Satan ships H/G:

Well! That's because Satan's favorite color is green and Harry has green eyes. And because "Ginny" begins with "G", which is also the first letter of "green." It's completely understandable.

...

Did you see the part about how she thinks that maybe people should let her around small kids without supervision? I wish I were kidding.
