I'm withholding comment on the basis that I refuse to believe that these poets are older than twelve.

Who are you and what have you done with Hermoine Canon Harry's Eyes? Turn out your pockets!

Bitch lease, if you are even going to TRY rhyming in poetry atleast SOUND the words out. Ten does not "rhyme" with "been." Also rhyming=/= good poem. K, thanks.

Maybe it was Grawp or the bond that they shared but we believed that triumph was near.

That thread contains some of the worst "poetry" I've ever read. Ginny Weasley's "His eyes are green as a pickled toad,/His hair as dark as a blackboard./I wish he was mine, he's really divine,/The hero who conquered the Dark Lord" is positively artful by comparison.

I don't know which is more pathetic about the first one--that it's so poorly written, or that nobody there is willing to do the kindness of correcting the atrocious spelling and grammar. Fawning over something so incompetently-written and telling the poor, misguided poet that it's "amazing," "powerful," and "brilliant" is downright cruel.

The other poems in the thread aren't much better, either in concept or execution. Honestly, the ideas of love and romance expressed in them is depressing. It's all about desperate yearning, obsession, feelings of incompleteness without the beloved. It's some seriously unhealthy, codependent shit. And once again, I'm left wondering just how many satisfying love relationships these people have had, and guessing that the number is zero.
