Myself, I am immensely curious as to what his motivation is for speaking in such a pompous and inherently formal manner. He speaks so scathingly of we who "jest", and one must wonder whether or not this fellow is capable of communicating in a more colloquial fashion.

In other words, damn, what's this guy's fuckin' problem and why does he talk like he's got a stick up his ass?

	giggle I admit that sometimes I ~~speak~~ write formally when engaging in debate, to the point that I have to consciously insert colloquialisms so I don't sound stuffy. Please don't. He is an upright, interesting guy, but honestly if my mocking him a little is enough for him to claim I'm trying to be "part of the in crowd," I don't need this kind of high school drama.

And actually... now that Tiffany has arisen, I'm finding this whole thing hysterical again instead of painful. I was pretty upset over it last night; I don't like loosing friend-aquaintances over stupid shit and I'm going back over my conduct to see if there's anything I would change for the next time (I don't think there is, but I'm running it by a few trusted friends to make sure I'm not turning into an unreasonable bitch), but it's the internet. *shrugs* It's not as serious as some of the other stuff I won't get into right now (since I'll break several Jurisimprudence laws to do it. ;)

In any case, please don't feel guilty. 8) I'm a grown adult; I can piss off my friends on my own.
