"Disconnect this person's internet" updates.
A few days ago, I posted about a wee little wank that was spawned by a meme that I created.
The meme uses a graphic that spears the imaginary user xxbabii_gurlxx -- or, at least, imaginary until some smart-ass who wishes to remain nameless, may she be forever showered with Pocky, registered the account. The account was suspended almost immediately, which was a crying shame because there was some screaming glorious wank in the comments on her entries.
(The reason why the account was suspended is irrelevant to this wank, but funny nonetheless. When the owner was asked by one of the smarter commenters in her journal why the account was created after the meme, she said that babii_gurl was her old journal. This violated the "don't you go pretending to be no one else" clause of the Terms of Service. The funny part -- the girl who owns babii_gurl's name is TIFFANY.)
The suspension had two effects:
1) No one can see that xxbabii_gurlxx was an obvious troll.
2) No one can see the account creation date.
You can see where this is going.
Enter eurisko97 ... defender of the innocent?! You may remember eurisko97 from this post in lj_biz, which had the distinction of making LJDrama. Eurisko97 is notorious among developers and volunteers who frequent the LiveJournal-related communities as being an arrogant [insert derogatory term here].
I'm not sure which is my favorite part of this wank, how he tells me it's wrong to mock fictional people, or how he calls callie_chan's criticizing of his English "linguistic symbolic violence" and then turns around and criticizes mine (erroneously, I might add).
Edit: eurisko97 now claims that "I actually have a theory of linguistics all my own, which will probably get my name around in a few circles in two or three years hence". Ooo-k.
