The OP herself comments "This is very long and very wanky so make of it what you will.". No, actually, it isn't wanky. It is mockable, but that is in no way the same thing as wank. Another common mistake that people (especially LOTRippers) make is thinking that playing a prank on someone, or a disagreement is wank. [fap]

You speak of FW condemning it's subjects as "unacceptable expressions of fandom", yet you consider Rachel's comments (and FW itself!) to be just that. Saying FW contains no internal hypocrisy is of course untrue, but on FW people attempt to realise their hypocrisies and laugh at themselves for their behaviour. You OP at least makes some attempt to do this, but your later comments involve no such awareness and it for that reason that people have a problem with you and for that reason that you are on FW. And see what you're doing here? You're mocking something which you view as strange (and you use "creeped out" again like you did with Esorlehcar, I'm hoping ironically) - that's no different from those nasty FW overlords. You talk of being horribly upset by being "being shredded by strangers on FW" so you chose to encourage your flist to do the same on your LJ.
