9:30a - An allegory demonstrating the law of natural selection for tinhats
One day a girl was walking along a jungle path with her family. A tiger leaped out, caught her aunt and dragged her off to eat her. The next day as they were walking on the same path, the tiger leaped out again, fastened his jaws on her mother's neck and dragged her off to be consumed. The next day the tiger clawed her father and he too was dragged away, leaving the girl and her brother alone on the path.

When fourth day dawned, the girl's brother suggested that they should find another, safer path through the jungle. But she said "The tiger has had a several chances to eat you and I but he didn't. We are safe, and there is no need for us to find a different way."

Later the tiger ripped off her head and ate her brain. The end.

3:46p - Law of Meta Avoidance
Meta-wank is not "voicing an opinion different than that of the wank reporter", and should not be treated as such.

First Corollary: Writing a long reply to said voicing of opinion, in which it is heavily implied that not agreeing with the reporter is a sign of mental deficiency, and ending it with "But I'm going to end this before it becomes meta-wank", means that you have, in fact, just made it meta-wank.

(Hm... I can't believe there's not already a law for people that go on long ranting replies in a debate/argument/flamewar and then says "But I'm stopping now" to avoid having to defend what they said...)
