9:31a - Orwell's Law
Anyone stating that America has become just like 1984 must either submit a full map of their home, neighborhood, and five block radius, citing at least 100 cameras intended to keep an eye on every move the populace makes, discounting any cameras on ATMs and in stores, or lose the argument.
Orwell's Corollary the First: If the OP makes statements leading to the suspicion that they have not actually read 1984, but have merely heard it's about evil oppressive government who are probably a bunch of Republicans, they can be asked to provide proof of actually having read the book or lose the argument even worse.
Orwell's Corollary the Second: In place of creating a map with cited cameras, the OP may substitute an essay in which they prove that America is more like the future of 1984 than the UK, which has, as of 2004, one street-aimed surveillance camera for every fourteen people. (Note: This corollary is not an attack against the UK, but more just a point along the lines of the Law of Ship Double-Standards.)

11:39p - Sorcha's Karma Chameleon Convention
I'm not sure if there's one on this topic already; if there is, lemme know and I'll pull this one.
Anyone who invokes "karma" in a misguided attempt to frighten their opponent/get the last word/whatever shall be forced to a: take a semester-long course on Hinduism and b: deliver a ten-page paper on karma and its true meaning, purpose, and manifestations.
