Reese (Della)'s Law of Pre-Emptive Shaming:
Anyone claiming that another person in fandom should not perform a certain action "because [creator/performer/character] wouldn't like it" not only forfeits the argument, but is to be pelted with copies of Spock, Messiah! and the Star Trek: Strange New Worlds anthologies until they cry.

Rice's Exemption:
Unless Anne Rice wouldn't like it. On the other hand, who really gives a shit what she says?

4:15p - Godwin's Modern Corollary (aka Friedman's Corollary)
Anyone mentioning in a debate Afghanistan, Iraq, or anything else relating to that entire bloody mess has automatically invalidated whatever argument they were "supporting."
