10:27a - 'You Were An Idiot Over the Internet' Does Not Remove Said Idiocy
Inspired by this comment.
The Principle of "Deflecting The Claim 'You Were An Idiot Over the Internet' Does Not Remove Said Idiocy. Unless You Have A Time Machine, At Which Point Things Get Interesting."
If a wanker says any of the following after it having been reveled to wankers that they’ve hit F_W, OTF_W, or any other such brethren: - "Well, if they wanted stupid, they could devote an entire forum to me." - states that "Blogging software is so out of date!" and/or "No one really cares about LJ anyway." - “It’s a sign of the degrading state of our society that such a site exists.” - Attempts to make a list of things wank reporter should add, noting all their qualities that stand in opposition of reported wanking. - Claims the report quotes things out of context and thus mars the meaning of one’s profound statement - Unknowingly invokes any variation on Snacky’s Law - Accuses F_W members of being hypocrites
Are to receive one “Do No Get Out of Wank Free” card, which states: “Do not get out of wank free. Do not pass Go, nor collect 200 Internet Dollars. You’ve been an idiot on the internet where everyone can see, and your self-effacement, reverse allegations, dismissal due to lack of Internet relevancy, accusations of misquoting, and bemoaning of the sad state of the current society cannot change that fact. We’d feel sorry for you, but we’re too busy being mean and setting stuffed animals on fire to care.”
EDIT: frequentmouse's Corollary: Admins who lock wanky threads after they are reported to F_W only succeed in making the entire forum look as idiotic as its most clueless member.
