12:49p - I came across this in a book and couldn't resist...
Gell-Mann's Standard:
Gramatically plausible but silly-sounding made up words can only be taken seriously when used in situations ordinary English was not designed for, such as describing arcane properties of subatomic particles.
EG: 'truthiness' is a conserved characteristic of the Truth Quark, and has nothing to do with fandom.
