12:13p - Internet Disease Fallacy (or, "Your mockery is making me sick!")
Suggested by me, wording by [info]harrylovesron:

Anybody who claims that an Internet argument or being mocked by somebody online makes them ill in some way and/or aggravates a pre-existing medical condition, shall be condemned to read bad "House" fanfic until their brains trickle out their ears.

Examples:

  • "I visited my doctor and had my blood pressure, heart rate, and weight measured. My blood pressure is higher than it had been in the last two years, my heart rate is unhealthily high, and I have lost five pounds since Tuesday morning."

  • "LOOK I AM STOPPING REPLYS I HAVE HAD TWO SEIZURES , FULL ON FALL DOWN SEIZURES SINCE THIS BEGUN GROUGHT ON BY STRESS"

  • And who could forget C***a's "congestive heart failure and sleep apnea"?

Per [info]serai: "Extra points if they claim they're posting from their hospital beds." More extra points if the disease is especially obscure.
