iirc, when someone has mod power, they don't need the pwd to the comm to edit the userinfo. *cheks* yep.

going to your 'edit userinfo page' ( http://www.journalfen.net/editinfo.bml ) logged in as, well, you, you'll get a tiny dropdown menu on top enabling you to choose what userinfo to edit 'switch journals'.

the comms you're a mod of are available in there, so you can just click that and edit their userinfos/setting from there. really handy, took me a while to notice it, too.
