Godwin's Mirror law.
The amount of social stigma against a given practice, belief, or fetish, is proportional to the likelihood that its practitioners will compare themselves to persecuted homosexuals. Or, alternately, Jews in Nazi Germany.
I need a name.

I'd go with "the amount of self-perceived social stigma," 'cause honestly, there's not that much social stigma against, say, shippers of a non-canon pairing, but... well.

Good law.

That's kinda what inspired me. I've been gitting into eFights with and coming across a lot of those guys, lately. They're predictable in that they'll have a rationalization for every one of their opponent's arguments. One of their most common tactics is to accuse their opponent of not being understanding, open-minded, and/or tolerant. I rarely see any actual evidence or logic.
