Jobs' Law
If a statement is criticized, and the poster's sole defense is that they're being oppressed for "thinking differently", they automatically lose. Punishment to be decided on by the victor.

The same also applies to anyone who claims that their argument is only being torn a new one because it must have some truth in it to get the critic so angry.

The two variations are separate enough that they could be separate laws...though the second in particular just seems so necessary that I wonder if it's been posted before.

Meester_Bond's Principle on Doctor Who Threads Spawned During a Wank:

I think it's time, based on some of the more recent Harry Potter wanks, to have a law that states that: as conversation about the Harry Potter or other related topic wank grows, the chances that someone will hijack the wank by talking about Doctor Who in an effort to kill the fandom topic of the wank.

Thanks.
