Ironically, I was the Crack_Broom flier for Snape/Lupin in August. To close out our reccing special event, I thought I'd link my recs here. Instead of boring you with full re-posts, I'll just add the links with a few words. I tried to pull off a "retro" theme to go with our Retro Fest, but I'm not sure how successful I was. Full commentaries are over at the CB. (PS, the queue for Snape/Lupin reccers is getting short. If you liked having a taste of reccing and want to try 4 in a month, you can sign up for reccing Snape/Lupin at the Crack Broom here) Recs 'o the month, some of which you saw here already, but what the heck, here's my take on them: In Clothes A Wantonness by Scribbulus_Ink - Hit 'em with the long and plotty right off! Whiskey in the Night by Daylyn - Then back off, give them something shorter... Early Morning Music by Kinky_Kneazle - Hit 'em with something really different they trust you... Recovery Position by Undun - And wrap it up with more long, plotty and fresh! 'Untouched' Art by Omni_Sama - Don't forget to pimp some BLU art... 'The Awakening: Blood Rites' Art by KC - ...on the way out the door. It was inspiring to see a month of recs. Thank you, especially our newbies and lurkers, for taking on the challenge! Remember, you can make recs on the community at any time, so there's no reason for the fun to end. Both the IJ and LJ communities have a "recs" tag for you to use. Prompt: Remus, Severus, and a swimming pool. Severus gaped in scandalized horror as Remus peeled off his swimsuit and dove into the pool stark naked. "What the hell are you doing?" he demanded, glancing furtively around for witnesses. "Skinny-dipping." Remus floated lazily on his back, smiling as if he was completely unconcerned about being caught. "The water's warm. You should join me." At Severus' vehement head-shake, he began to wheedle. "Come on, Severus -- it's our honeymoon. We're entitled to do foolish things." His smile turned lascivious. "I'll make it worth your while." Severus wavered -- and then he shrugged and stripped. Naked wet werewolf outweighed propriety any day.
