March. Ides. Go!
Updates/gossip/hearsay from today's protests go here. (Note: anything I post should be taken just as seriously as all that, 'cause I'm getting everything third-hand today, sadly.)

Rumor: 2 Anons arrested in Atlanta for noise disturbance? Reports on You-Know-Where of Atlanta police being generally assholes.
Heard: Melbourne either really really fail, or really really win. Raidchan has reported both, so.
Suspect: London will beat out all other cities in sheer turnout.
Rumor: Birmingham has rain; wet Anon is wet.
Report secondhand: LA raid impeded by anti-war/anti-Bush protest.

Anyone have any other reports/contradictions/mockery?

ETA: A quick round-up of what we have in the comments so far.

+LA wins some sort of epic prize for having a fucking plane. ("Honk/yell if you think Scientology is a cult")
+Amsterdam also brings the win to the yard with cake, facing the $cilons' own demonstration of some sort, and reinforcing the fact that Anon delivers (when Anon runs out of cake, at least.) Much Rickrolling and merriment reported.
+Dusseldorf continues the win with cops encouraging misdemeanor honking.
+Halifax Anons toughed it out through a blizzard, and deserve tits and hot chocolate for being such troopers.
+Only 5 'nons in San Antonio, but there was a clown so that was alright.
+Seattle was low-key with big signs and weird traffic patterns.
+No raid in México but the $cientology center closed down and boarded up anyways.
+Dallas had some conflict with a parade, and may or may not have been win.
+Cincinnati gentleman asks, "Do they take foodstamps?"
+Boston had good turn-out, hungry cops, and Stoop Kid 2.
+San Francisco: "ANONYMOUS IS LEGION" - "Anonymous is cold!" - "Anonymous's feet hurt!" (Also notable: You-Know-Where is awash in pictures of female!Anon delivering tits with mask. The cry of "cancer" is drowned out by immediate fapping.)
+Arrests in Georgia can be viewed here. (Digg please, we need to keep on front page.) They've apparently been let go, though.
+Good turn-out in Toronto, incl. "TRAP" chanting.

Posting all this here mainly because Enturbulation's servers are being robust, and if we're just looking for headline updates we may as well not make it worse. More details in comments, of course, I'm just doing the top stories.

I saw Karin Spaink kissing Xenu an Anonette in a Xenu mask. :D

The Amsterdam raid went incredibly well, actually. We weren't allowed to protest outside the org (bastard stole our spot), but we set up headquarters in on of the most crowded streets in the city. Signs in every tree, picnic tables with cake and balloons, Rick Astley music in the background and hundreds of Anon handing out thousands of flyers.

At one point, donations were asked to buy more flyers and cake - in literally less than one minute we managed to raise over 120 Euro.

The Scilon protest on the other side of the street was officially "against drugs". (Yes, really. A drug protest in the middle of Amsterdam, right across from Anonymous. I wish I was kidding.) They didn't even bother pretending they were "Narconon", and most tourists either ignored them or just lol'd.

Also, on our way back we dropped by the org to let them know we're never gonna give them up.

Halifax = blizzard. (This is the one in Canada.) We still got about 30 people out at our highest. There was cake, for "Elron Hubbard", and an ambulance lit up for us, as did several of the VERY VERY BIG trucks dealing with the sand and snow.

We finished up early, but the Church was deserted and everyone was frozen solid.

Someone walked up to us and gave us a huge box of mixed Timbits. I <3 my country.

Grand total of five from San Antonio :( but we had a good time. A clown came up to us and chatted us up as to why we were holding up signs, and before that a bike cop came over to say he agreed with what we were doing and to stay as long as we could. The police were really awesome about the whole thing, actually.

I attended the one in Seattle for about an hour and a half this afternoon, when I suspect it was at its peak. I did a quick headcount at one point and there were about 35-40 people around the org itself, but I know there were others on surrounding streets, carrying signs and handing out flyers.

Picketing the Seattle org is difficult because of the traffic patterns. It isn't normal city street traffic; it's on a very busy stretch of highway (Aurora Avenue/Highway 99) and the "cross street" is actually in a viaduct beneath the highway. It's hard to hand out fliers because motorists don't stop and there is very little foot traffic.

A lot of Anons brought signs, including big canvas bannners to hang off the overpass where motorists coming down the viaduct could see them. Some of us stood there and waved at oncoming traffic, and we got a lot of people to honk, including a couple of Postal Service trucks (I wanted to get a Metro driver to honk, but none did ;_;). One guy gave us the finger that I saw, but we did get a lot of honks and smiles and people waving.

It was lower-key than I expected, and I wished I'd got my act together and made a sign. I also left my mask at home so I had to make do with a scarf and sunglasses, but next time I'll be better prepared...

As far as I know, there was no protest last time or this time in México, and I live half a block away from the local crazy center (Which is the one reason why I didn't started the protest myself. Everyone around here knows my opinion on the crazies), but even so, and even when in México Scientology is considered a bunch of nutcases, they barricaded the center. At first glance, it looks closed and deserted, took off all the posters, and even a huge ass dianetic banner they usually have on top of the building.

Paranoic much?

The Dallas turn out was either huge or small since the Greenville avenue St. Paddy's day parade was today.

Low turn outs in the states may be due to all the parades.

Saw the protest in Toronto. Was not an actual participant, sadly. (I totally forgot it was on...)

Walked by around 3:10 pm. A few police were keeping the protesters on the east side of Yonge this time (from the looks of the Feb. 10 protest, they had been allowed on both sides of the street). But police presence was not heavy.

Hard for me to tell exactly how many people were there, but it was a good turn out. Saw some nice signs (good size, good messages). I had a good view since we were walking by from Scientology's side. Good weather, not too cold, nice sun, and our St. Patty's Day parade in the city is not until tomorrow, though I hear there were protests in Canada today over Afganistan. Don't know how that will affect media coverage of Anon's protest.

Right as we walked by, one anon started a chant yelling "TRAP TRAP TRAP" and it took off right away. I lol'd.

decent turnout in Montreal, about 50 total over the day i'd say. snowed, wet signs suck and we didn't have enough fliers, but we did have free delicious cake, party hats for all and sparklers. we sang the rick roll and asked them to free the Price of Belair and to give us John Travolta, no response. Scions called the cops on us, for loitering in front of their building from what i heard. as far as i know no one was fined and we just stayed on the other side of the street or kept moving if we were over on their side for some reason.

sadly we got utterly owned in terms of news coverage. protest on the war, protest on the coalition between Canadian and American troops, protest against the SPCA, AND the protest against police brutality ironically turned into a riot with molotav cocktails. all on the same day. not to mention the the protest in Tibet against China that's still on the news.

It's true that in LA there was a political rally a few blocks away from where Anon was protesting. It caused a detour with traffic, including buses. Many Anons complained that the traffic prevented them from reaching the afternoon protest in time, but I don't know the actual numbers who were hurt by it. We still had a good turn-out (250-300). Wise Beard Man and Magoo both in attendance, although Magoo ended up injuring her hand.

OH OH AND THE BIG WANKY THING. Fair Game Policy IN ACTION. Two Scilons came out dressed in Fawkes masks and followed protesters around with signs containing (what they claimed were) protesters' real faces and home addresses: http://forums.enturbulation.org/punbb/viewtopic.php?id=5&p=5

Though it's sorta unlikely the real Anons they were following were actually the people CoS insisted they were, how goddamn shameless. So much for "Fair Game" not being on the books anymore!

There are reports that there was more infiltration and some shady cops at the evening protest, but I wasn't around for that one. Anyone have details?
