L Ron's very own Copypasta

A 1934 German book called Scientologie that bears a striking resemblance to more than a couple of lines from Buffy concepts he "borrowed" for use in Dianetics.

So no wonder the Scientologists have a mad-on with the Germans.

I googled, and found a reference to that book and Hubbard's stealing from it in a legal essay (German, and tl;dr) on Scientology which appears to be from 1981 (footnote 64, right at the bottom). Considering the odd information on the author given in the scans, I had been wary of a fake, but it appears he existed.

Pity that he wasn't a psychiatrist... Co$ would probably spontaneously implode.

You mean the man couldn't even write his own fake religion without stealing?

The Flying Spaghetti Monster is ashamed.
