Rumors? Reports? SCANDAL? ENTURBULATIONS???

My sources in /b/oston tell me numbers were about in keeping with the last two months, possibly a hair less, but the raid went well; many honks, much flyering, a nice procession down to Copley where a dance party and game of capture-the-flag ensued. Stoop Kid was not sighted as far as I've heard. He is missed.
An Old Guard person from Usenet showed up wearing a 'Body Thetan On Board' t-shirt. He was excellent to have around.
The cops, as usual, were genial and obviously unhappy to have to listen to the scilons for hours on end.

This appeared on the front page of a Dutch newspaper last week: the #1 hitman in the Netherlands, Jesse R., is apparently a Scientologist.

According to the church of Scientology, being associated with R. is a publicity nightmare. Spokeswoman Julia Rijnvis says he was not a member of the church, and [that he] interpreted the teachings the wrong way. She regrets the fact that Scientology is "dragged in forcibly" [lit. "by the hairs"] by the media.
Rijnvis: "We do everything to keep criminals on the right path, with success. In Mexico, Indonesia, the United States and Israel entire prisons cooperate with L. Ron Hubbard's rehabilitation program, called Criminon."
Evidence from the Chamber of Commerce indicates that from August to December 2004 and from September to October 2005 R. was the executive president of the Criminon Foundation Netherlands.

And yes, this is the same OSA Julia who previously claimed auditing can cure homosexuality, Scientology is like a fire truck, and Anonymous is sponsored by the pharmaceutical industry. :D

The widely known "secret" that Scientology's cruise ship (and OT factory) has huge amounts of ~~fail~~ blue asbestos is finally out.

The ship was sealed and isolated and experts will investigate and measure the presence of asbestos dust in the hull and surrounding areas.

I guess May's CCHR convention is off. Woe.

A member of anonymous has contacted CDM (the drydock company involved in the story) to discuss the details of CoS's knowldedge of the asbestos. Maybe Lawrence Woodcraft's affidavit on the issue will finally get some attention as part of a HUGE LAWSUIT.

ETA asbestos is not dangerous because L. Ron didn't say so, duh!!!

Hubbard doesn't state in policy that asbestos is dangerous; he only states that fiberglass is dangerous and therefore we are only removing the fiberglass. ...

Since Hubbard had been in the US Navy and had then founded the Sea Org and had run a fleet of ships, he knew everything about ships. If asbestos was dangerous, he would have written this somewhere. Also Hubbard knew everything about cancer. He had written that cancer was caused by the mind and specifically second dynamic aberration (problems with relationships).... As the ship was going to be filled with "operating thetans" doing the highest level in Scientology (OT 8) nothing was going to make them sick. I was being a "wog" (non-scientologist) worrying about a little thing like asbestos

A Dutch Scientologist broke an anon's camera during a mini-raid this Tuesday. Epic lack of TR-0, but not really lulzworthy.

That is, until anon discovers the Scilon used to be the Dutch royal dentist. Who got unceremoniously kicked out of the palace when he tried to convert the Queen to Scientology.

In any case, he's going to have a lot to think about - anon managed to tell him the Cliffs Notes version of the Sara Hubbard case, which left him pretty much shell-shocked.

Not a good week for Scientology. First, the Jason Beghe teaser trailer is getting TONS of publicity. Now, Youtube deleted Tory Magoo's account yesterday (edit: and it was being trolled too) for no reason but the news spread and her account is back today!

Edit: Youtube must like receiving 8 trillion angry emails because they just deleted Wise Beard Man's youtube account. Another FAIL for Scientology because that trailer is all over the news already.

Charges were dropped against Sean Carasov and considered an EPIC WIN.

SoCal Anonymous has announced that the DA has decided not to proceed with prosecution in the case of Anonymous member Sean Crasov, who was arrested on Saturday, March 15th, for a charge of "Criminal Threats." Total bail was set at $50,000. Sean "Rorschach" Carasov's arraignment was scheduled for April 9th, at 8:30am.

Anonymous is providing a videotape of the incident to authorities, which they believe may contain enough evidence to charge the CoS with filing a false police report. It may also provide grounds for a lawsuit.

Does anyone know what questions are asked in the “Free Stress Test”? Can they be answered with lines from Never going to give you up?

If they can, I’m going to learn it backwards – keep seeing Free Stress Test tables and would love to turn the stress around. ;)
