"Would you shoot your aunt to honour her spirit?"
I was beginning to wonder if the therian comm would ever produce spooge...

Therianthropy. A relatively quiet and relatively drama-free comm dedicated towards therians and therianthropy* and the various ways of expressing it.

Of course, that's helped by the mod squad as they do their best to keep things calm.

Unfortunately, that doesn't prevent disagreements from popping up now and then.

Enter Ashleywolf, who posts about a wolf skull she got and queries about how to preserve her gift.

Various members comment to tell her about their animal bits that they've gotten over the years, and all seems fine, until Northwolf shows up to tell Ashleywolf that "the best way to honour your phenotype** is to NOT kill it, and that paying someone to shoot a wolf or another animal is bad because it encourages them to do it more and 'would you kill your aunt to get closer to her?'".

There's not a lot of drama, and hopefully it'll stay small, because if it doesn't the mods will probably step in and delete the whole post. Which would be a shame.

Anyways, it's small, but it's funny, and you can't say you didn't see this coming.

For those of you who are curious as to what some of these things mean...

*therianthropy: the belief that a person's soul is entirely or partially animal.
**phenotype: the animal that a person believes is where their soul type comes from.
