Being meen iz illegull OMG!!1!!11
A law was passed in Washington state (U.S.), making "cyberstalking" illegal, and defining it as thus:
- A person is guilty of cyberstalking if he or she, with intent to
harass, intimidate, torment, or embarrass any other person, and under
circumstances not constituting telephone harassment, makes an electronic
communication to such other person or a third party:
- Using any lewd, lascivious, indecent, or obscene words, images, or
language, or suggesting the commission of any lewd or lascivious act;
- Anonymously or repeatedly whether or not conversation occurs; or
- Threatening to inflict injury on the person or property of the person
called or any member of his or her family or household.
That's right, " embarrass"ing someone is illegal. It can also be to a third party. So, is F_W making more than one post about a wanker count a "stalking"? Or, since we often use "indecent" words (fuckin'-A!), does that count?
ETA: I corrected the link that pointed at itself. Sorry for being a dumb-ass. <smacks self>
