Trolling, trolling, trolling, keep those doggies trolling...
So I attend The School of Visual Arts in New York City. There is a livejournal community for students that has been steadily growing and growing, and accumulating wank.

Watch as Sararose suggests that we find some way to limit the n00b posts. Also, the community is not pretty enough for artists.

Watch as our cracked out moderator alnie has a humourous spazz fit. WARNING: NSFW icon.

Watch as wank ensues.

Watch as alnie's best friend geddy joins the fight to say OMG STFU ALL OF YOU ALNIE IS TEH COOLEST EVAR!!11!!.

Watch as wank explodes.

The best/creepiest part is the webcomics personalites that attend SVA and take part in this rigamarole.

A tiny, yet humourous wank.

It should also be noted that alnie's current post is actually an edited and toned-down version. His first was was more along the lines of "UR ALL FAGS!" Oh, alnie, what would our community be without you? Boring, I tell you what!

EDIT: Well, everything's been deleted. Wank dead in the water. Ahh, well, amusing while it lasted.

That "seal of approval" thing is fucking annoying. Not to mention hideously ugly.

"But if you were a friend of his, you'd understand it."

Considering that no one's really commenting on them thus far (other than the great flaming troll), I'm guessing he doesn't have many friends. Or they don't get it either, but don't have the heart to tell him.

Yeah, it's kinda wierd. One night I was in the basement of my dorms and just sort of wandered into David McGuire workin' on some comics. Ian J. is room-mates with my friend Jim, the large lumberjack man who makes Cletus the Fetus. I mean, it's like they decided to use b-level internet personalities for wallpaper or something...

I spend too much time on the internet. I find your little story very cool.

Whee! Art wank! And here I was just hankerin' for some good stuff- I actually miss the pretentious wankery that pervades the art dept. at my college. Is it better or worse at your school?

HAHAHAHA OH MAN. That's such a loaded comment. I'm in the animation department, so you'd never believe how often I hear that animation isn't really art. Of course, there are also some Fine Artists that do give us some mad props.

Also, we're infested with emo kids and indie rockers. Makes the skin crawl, I tell ya what...

Oh, yeah. I'm planning on illustration as a career (get to combine my love of art and books that way), and the head of the fine art dept. is always asking me if I wouldn't rather be an abstract expressionist. And there's always people who think that I'm betraying the "purity" of art by, y'know, wanting to make money at it.
