Troll! In the support group!
The Aspies are at it again!

This one starts out fairly tame as a laughably obvious troll posts a sarcastic screed to the comm and members respond with variations on "yawn".

But then shrike feels the need to assert his superiority, uran applauds the troll for smacking down those lame Aspies who don't try to lose weight and act normal, and an image duel breaks out. (Still waiting for the Special Olympics one.)

I should probably stop reporting these. They're just too easy.

*clings to my fanfic* The only thing I'm obsessive about is naptime. Think I'm gonna get one in rightaboutnow.

I knew there was a reason I haven't read any posts from there in a few weeks...

I really think more countries ought to adopt the siesta tradition. It might not make the world a better place, but it would sure make it a more well-rested one.

Hey Conuly is in the thread, and oddly enought they're *still* talking about breastfeeding.

My my my, more Aspie wank. It's really like shooting fish in a barrel, isn't it?

This is why I stopped going to the locak Aspie support group. Imagine this in LIVE ACTION.

So, does having AS make it more likely that you'll wank or something?

I think it's the same for any subculture online. Drama will always ensue in groups of people united by simular charachterstics and/or interests.

Asperger's is a form of high-functioning autism. Meaning that social skills aren't high on their list of priorities. So, yeah.

Anyone with Asperger's please feel free to kick my ass if I'm not correct in my over-generalization.

"list of priorities" seems a bit wrong. If you have a hard time reading peoples bodylanguage and nuances, wank ensues. It doesn't matter if you try.

You know, there's a part of me that thinks it would be cool to be a telepath, but there's another part of me that thinks being able to read peoples' minds would make me loathe humanity even more.

So instead I'd like to be telekinetic and just drop large objects on their heads. :D

I couldn't even make it around the parking lot without a.) hitting something, and b.) bursting into tears. So, no license for me.

I'm not sure if the bursting into tears had anything to do with the crashing, or if they were two completely unrelated incidents. Not being able to see where you're going because of sobbing does have it's problems. But I swear, that tree wasn't there before I ran into it.

Or the garage. Or the garbage cans. Or the house--twice.

Yeah, I suck.

From what I can gather, it's what parents of out-of-control ADHD children call the little hoodlums, and they, too claim that thier children are the next stage in human evolution. If that's the case, I hope we degenerate a few notches.

[info]smo

Children hardly ever wean before a year - if left to their own devices, they'll likely go on for two, three, or four years. A lot of the time that mothers think their children are weaning what's really happening is a "nursing strike", which is temporary if you keep trying to nurse.

Oh! Okay! So if you FORCE your six-month-old to continue breastfeeding, they'll eventually give in and do it! Because everyone knows how open to reason the average infant is!

*grits teeth*

I must not wank... wank is the mind-killer...
