Nice, tidy Christian wank courtesy of [info]mock_the_stupid.

[info]beliah posts a giggle-worthy story of how she went into a Christian bookstore and went up to the counter asking for one of those Darwin fish plastic decals for her car before she realized where she was.

[info]lars_larsen arrives to state the simple truth (according to him): "Christianity is all about forcing your beliefs on other people. They call it "conversion".

I almost bought a "Prozac" fish once- and I'm a Christian. I bet some of the reactions I would have gotten in my church parking lot would have been pretty funny.

Geez...

I don't like Christianity much either, but that's because it doesn't gel with my worldview and it's easy to slip down the spiral into fundamentalism. But I don't go around harassing Christians; that would be just as bad as them harassing me to go back into the fold. Pot, meet kettle.

The OP was rather funny, since it was AN HONEST MISTAKE. And everybody throws a tantrum since they don't GET that little bit of information and thought she was doing it out of malice. Geez, when will people learn?

And if I didn't believe it was wrong to advertise my religious philosophy/beliefs, I would SO get the Buddha fish >D.

How is a Darwin fish harassing Christians?

I expect it's sexually violating them in some manner.

I can't figure that one out myself since I've seen enough Xtians sporting the Darwin fish (and there's a number of denominations who aren't fond of the Jesus Christ Our Lord And Savior fish).
