Sometimes people are just WRONG, okay? It's okay to be wrong! But not for ME to be wrong!

And don't miss "Homosexuality? Well, problem is, it does hurt people, because Homosexuality, those who practice it, shove it in everyone's face. That's why it upsets people."

Well I, for one, am sick and tired of having heterosexuality shoved in my face. If I see one more drunken couple macking on the T at 3 a.m., I'm going to whack them both on the nose with a rolled-up Boston Metro.

The whole marriage thing is hurting a lot of people. We shouldn't have the change things just for them. It's not about tolerance anymore. We're suppose to say "it's okay" now. That's not making a choice.

Her deeply incoherent sincerity is touching.

Not really a good kind of touching, though.

If nothing else, she's certainly an endangered species.

It's really depressing. But then, people seem to afraid to be on one side of the argument now a days. They have to be in the middle, because they are to scared to face people who don't agree with them.

FOR FUCK'S SAKE, USE A PROPER NOUN. IT WILL NOT KILL YOU. Talk about being scared to face "people."

"Oh I'm not for or against it."
Yeah, that can only work for so long.

Oh, those "people" with their "intelligence" and their "debate" and their "seeing both sides of an issue"! Why can't they just be like me, automatically right all the time because I never actually say anything specific about anything and am really really really sure I'm right?

I couldn't stand the second link for more than a few seconds. The siren call of Stupid floated out to me, promising me a world where no one ever had to think, where inane sentence fragments with randomly capitalized words actually made sense, and I would always be right forever and ever just because I said so.

This bit:

The whole marriage thing is hurting a lot of people.

got me. Because.. which "people" are these, again, that are so badly hurt if I marry my wife and can get a Visa for her more sensibly? The "people" who live in her head? So evil of me to victimise them by wanting to get married.

As for her assertion that no one heterosexual ever wants to be gay while gay people go to doctors begging to be made heterosexual... which has nothing to do with 'phobic jerks like her, it's because Gay is Unhappy.... she knows fuck-all about the history of the women's movement, that's for sure.

No one sees it being 'icky' and 'weird' for me to be straight because, let's see... it's normal? Being straight is natural. That could be it.

At least she understands that peanut butter is trying to get married. The white bread will have to cancel its order for a wedding veil.

I'm enjoying the complete lack of sense-making happening in her and peppa_minto's responses when visp tries to reason with her.

Peanut butter isn't trying to get married.

HEE! I love how she says it as if that's the end of the discussion. There's the punchline! She just hammered home her point and now we're all speechless because we're laughing too hard with awe!

I guess it's impossible to discuss this with her, because any comparison put forth to unfog her teeny tiny brain will be rejected as completely unrelated to the discussion at hand! Which makes no sense! But whatever!

Her logic does not resemble our earth logic.

Okay...first off, three words that the OP doesn't get: Morality. Is. Relative. There is no cosmic justice, no absolutes. Your version of "right" and "wrong" is simply that: YOUR version. However, we as human beings are so damn self-centered that we'd like to believe that OUR morality should be EVERYONE ELSE's. (I am very guilty of this.)

Also...seems that she doesn't know about people who change sex from being "heterosexual" in the body they happened to be born in. >3

And words get redefined all the time. I remember when "gay" meant "happy", you could actually say "pussy" to refer to either 'a housecat' or 'filled with pus', and I could mention 'Tootie Fruttie' ice cream without cracking up. ('Tootie' was a college slang word for 'vagina', and 'tootie fruttie' was lesbian sex. >D)
