Knitting wank
Every now and then, wank pops up in places you'd swear would be wank-free, right?

Enter ... knitting wank, part 86,445. Okay, so maybe you wouldn't swear knitting would be wank-free.

A community of sharing goes horribly awry. There's copyright bitching, Disney bitching, and some moderate ranting about "I'd put the picture behind the cut, but you took it down before I woke up".

Then, there's the obligatory "I'm leaving post -- complete with "this company doesn't exist because they don't have a webpage".

It's little, but it's mine. (pets the baby wank)

But in America, the DCMA makes even tiny copyright violations a very, very dangerous thing for LiveJournal; knitting is huge, and very visible, so we really have to be above reproach.

I'm kind of boggling at the "above reproach" bit.

But, you know, I can't even walk down the street anymore without spotting at least three gals knitting with those thick joined-by-a-cord knitting needles. Even at the airport I was the ONLY female at the gate to have a BOOK instead of balls of yarn. It's a big fad, these days.

What's next, the CROCHET?!?!

At least for the Harry Potter fandom, you know there is the possiblity for knitting slash between Hermione and Mrs. Weasley. Chances are that's how Hermione learned to knit, via sexual favors for Molly.

Next up, Harry will be knitting himself jockstraps for Ron and he for Quidditch.

Now we just need some wankage and we are all set.

Every once in a while I think I've seen everything but then a link like that comes up. Wow. A community for Livejournal slashers who are also interested in handcrafts - knitting, sewing, beading, quilting, any craft at all. How about The Craft? ...no?

This sure is a hell of a night for me. I've been on holiday and got the My Little Pony thing, the dead_babies stuff and now this, all in one sitting. There isn't much left of my brain tonight.
