BDSM Wank!!
NOTE: do not follow any of the links here if you are likely to be offended by the word "cunt" - it appears repeatedly on one of the main combatant's icons.

Leather Rose is a community for open-minded discussion of any and all topics regarding BDSM.

It was a fairly quiet and wank-free place until Nity, aka Quaker_Whore laid into Grail76 for crossposting and apparently cheating on his wife.

Ketzl kindly gives us a nice handy guide to the whole ensuing snarkfest:

Follow Ketzl's guide for a trainwreckishly mind boggling experience! ^^;;

The one thing he does miss out is a rather cute interlude. One of Leather Rose's members has clearly had quite enough of teh stupid and decides to bring the community back down to basics with a to-the-point post and an amusingly silly icon:

I think it says something about me when I see this:
ukemi, Nity's husband and master
And think "What's a dominant male doing with 'uke' in their user name?"

Thank the everloving deities you posted this; I was just about to do it myself after trudging through dot_bdsm_snark and the cliff notes version!

But as you went through the trouble of reporting, I'll just be here munching on popcorn I hate popcorn but my Master told me to eat some and I always obey my Master oh if you have a problem with that talk to my Master! and getting my daily dose of point-and-laugh.

Goodness, that apothsis guy is annoying. It's invariably hilarious when someone takes up that much space to inform everyone that he doesn't care what they think. Particularly in response to one offhand remark.

Or perhaps I'm just biased against anyone who refers to himself as 'Me'. Not insulting the BDSM community, but that particular convention is irritating as all get out.

Heh, you're not insulting the BDSM community as a whole by saying that - there's rather a large number of us who aren't impressed with those who feel a need to abuse capitalisation to show how dominant or submissive they are! This sort of thing gets wanked fairly regularly on dot_bdsm_snark.

Amen. I'm a switch; does that mean I should be inconsistently capitalised? I think not...

Hahaha! I'm going to stay anonymous on this one. I scened once with grail76. Let me tell you, there's nothing weirder than scening with a man while he's wearing a wedding ring. At least have the decency to take it off until you leave! *snerk*

Not to be ugly, but if you knew he was married and you objected, why the hell did you go ahead with the scene in the first place? At least have the decency to be honest about your feelings before you get your jollies off in a scene!

Wow. I think everyone involved in this needs to just go into a quiet little corner for a bit and cool down. ;) How nice of Ketzl to give us a guide to the whole thing!

I give Ketzl's snarky reporting 10 out of 10.

Why is apothsis capitalizing "me" and "my"? Is it a BSDM thing, or does s/h/it actually have delusions of godhood?

Ketzl's reporting is great!

The only widely accepted captializations in BDSM circles are Dom/Domme/Dominant, Master and Mistress. Other capitalizations to emphasise one's dominance tend to meet with jeers of derision and get reported as wank on dot_bdsm_snark.

I think this icon *points upwards* expresses my feelings about Apothsis and his ilk rather nicely! People like him give BDSM a bad reputation.

Wow. That's one sexual community I don't think I ever want to get involved with. And as for the telling of the cheated on spouse- if it wasn't for the threat of STD's, I'd suggest everyone follow Dear Abby's advice and STFU about it.

Dude, nobody on F_W is going to complain about an icon with the word "cunt" in it.

Trust me on that.
