I'm itching to call these girls bra-burning feminazi closet-lesbians, but that's an insult to lesbians and closet-lesbians everywhere.

You see, a Hornblower fan HATES the way that naked male porn/fine art is usually called "homoerotic". Barring the fact that women have homos to thank for the upsurgance of male porn, period, why the hell does it matter? Are we not allowed to be attracted to those of different sexualities, now?

The entire post turns into an orgy of comments bashing them stupid men (all they think about is dick, you know), and talk about how much they SUCK.

I calmly put in a counterpoint...

And proceed to be told to GET BENT! before being banned from the girl's journal and watching the post get friendslocked.

LOL, this girl's whole rant comes from her own confusion. >_> If she's seeing a picture of a naked man, by himself, and it's labeled as homoerotic, then it's simply labeled wrong. If it's two men together, then it is homoerotic, because of the subject matter, not because of any assumption about the sex of the viewer.

God save me from people like her.

	Well, in fine art photography "homoerotic" applies to any art that portrays naked men in non-social psuedo-sensual poses (one man counts), and "homosocial" portrays men in non-sensual (cohabitive) environments. Which is the part that makes my head hurt like a mother reading all this arguing. That term has nothing to do with the sexuality of the viewer. People droll over the pictures they like, no matter who the intended audience is. From what I gather, looking at Playgirl is a rite of passage for gay men who are just starting to admit the fact.
