Prominent Malaysian blogger Jeff Ooi posts something about Islam Hadhari and money politics on his blog, comparing them to oil and water.

Someone named "Anwar" comments, comparing them to...well, bodily waste. Jeff Ooi tells him that his comment was unwarranted and bans him from the blog.

A couple of major dailies in Malaysia catch the comment and print front-page articles, claiming that Jeff Ooi has insulted Islam by allowing the comment to pass, that he is causing national instability, and that his website should be shut down. The Government gets on Jeff's case too, while the leader of the Opposition is on Jeff's side.

...all missing the point that it wasn't even JEFF that made the comment in the first place.

Jeff and Malaysian bloggers go WTF.
