Battle of the Art Sites
Okay, so everyone knows deviantArt. dA has been around a while, and changed in certain ways over time from when it first popped onto teh intraweb. It's gained members, and lost members, but is still one of The Big Dicks of art-sites online, and prides itself because of this.

Enter SheezyArt WARNING: NOT WORKSAFE. A much smaller, less hardcore/serious/professional kind of site, that caters to certain branches of art that tend to be scapegoated and attacked on dA a lot (read: furry, porn, anthro, porn, manga/anime art, fanart, porn, etc).

Many people on Sheezy seem to have been expressing some frustration with dA through their art and journals etc. Channel Cat comes out and says "Please stop, we don't want an art-site war."

Wank Ensures.

Some individuals who are disgruntled with dA express why, mkinne responds. More wank, with Godwin's Law being broken many times in reference to the dA staff. People who have had run-ins with the staff at dA give examples of why they left. mkinne is diplomatic.

Snowolf steps up to the plate.

Over at dA, a thread is created, bashing Sheezy. Individuals who call themselves "deviants" can't handle teh pr0n. SA supporters are told to STFU and not be deviant from the accepted generalisations of the thread. Resident elitists spout common dA rhetoric. And general wankery continues on and on and on, until the thread is closed, even with the original poster expressing surprise that it went on for so long.
