Yeah, that was patently obvious to me the first time a read an LJ post calling Bush a "tyrant"...they've apparently lowered the bar for "tyranny" lately, and frankly, I think it cheapens it for us aspiring tyrants.

And this is exactly why I am ashamed to call myself a pagan. Because these people are morons. I don't see why belief in naturalistic-force-as-deity and a vague recognition that there are probably more things out there than yadda yadda insert-Shakespeare-quote-here needs to be lumped in with people who think they talk to dragons and fairies. Though on the other hand, I seem to recall Charlton Heston talking about the day he converted from being a Democrat to being a Republican-- he was driving around and saw campaign signs for... I believe it was Goldwater... that read, "In Your Heart You Know It's The Right Choice". Or words to that effect. And voila, he claims that's what did it.

So maybe the Republican party is just really good at attracting easily-suggestible people? Maybe that elephant subconsciously reminds them of a naked woman or a penis or something.

Evidently the original poster doesn't like how people recieve her post and posts this. People continue to treat her ideas with the respect the deserve so she posts this long whiny rant about how the pagans aren't open minded enough for her.

This creates further meta splooge as people take objection to the idea that their religion means you have to believe everything all of the time.

Which leads to a standard wanky "I'm leaving post."

Conclusion: Someone needs to stop playing Mage for a while until it becomes clear that the Technocracy is NOT REAL.
